NOTHINGSPECIAL WITH YABIKU HENRIQUE YUDI
These pants have a silhouette that dares to be featureless in order to make the most of the fabric.
The fabric is a Gobelins weave of a painting by Yabiku Henrique Yudi, which he intuitively drew after telling us his mood for the season.
The modern paintings by Yabiku Henrique Yudi are clothed in a slightly antique mood by daring to weave them in Gobelins instead of Jacquard.
Yabiku Henrique Yudi/Yabiku Henrique Yudi
Born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1997, Yabiku Henrique Yudi moved to Japan at the age of 11. Yabiku Henrique Yudi is a collage artist whose work is based entirely on intuition, and he gives each process its own story. In March 2019, he will hold his first solo exhibition "FIRST IMPRESSION" at W+K+ gallery space in Nakameguro. In 2021, he will hold his largest solo exhibition "MOTION" at DIESEL ART GALLERY in Shibuya. Having grown up between the two cultures of Brazil and Japan, he finds beauty in the imperfection and distortion of the world, and his style of expression, which leaves everything to intuition, has taken the art and fashion scene in Tokyo by storm. Currently, she is expanding her range of expression by creating objects and spatial installations centering on collage.
