BIG INVITATION WITH TSUCHIYA KABAN WITH PRINTING
Shoulder bag in collaboration with TSUCHIYA KABAN.
The bag is just the right size to hold a laptop computer and has a PC sleeve on the inside. The bag is designed to "carry and deliver together" the kindness and thoughtfulness of Tsuchiya Bag Mfg. We wanted to create
a bag that would make people want to share the kindness and compassion of Tsuchiya Bag Factory, which means "to carry and deliver with you".
We wanted to create and deliver clothes, feelings, and scenes as if we were writing a letter, and to share the warmth and memories." With this in mind, we used the sealing-stamp type magnetic clasp that SHINYAKOZUKA uses in its collection line to seal letters, and
created a letter-shaped shape, a box shape reminiscent of a school bag, and a backplate. The design incorporates a box shape and backplate reminiscent of a school bag.
ISSUE#6, the 2025 SS collection, is inspired by the picture book "Iro wo Wasureta Machi" (The Town that Lost Its Color), which the designer drew himself.
In the picture book, the main character, who lives in a "world without color," encounters a "blue picture" and the "inhabitants of the world in the picture" and travels to a "world with color," bringing "scenes" to the main character.
The story.
The "invitations" that appear in important scenes in the story are expressed in the letter-shaped bag.
The entire bag is printed with the designer's hand-drawn scenes from the world in the picture book, which are expressed in a Toile de Jouy pattern.
You can enjoy
drawing each scene by adding colors and settings to each picture, such as "Maybe it's nighttime in this picture," "Maybe these two people are relatives," "Oh, I know this moment," etc.
